Make
a donation
We spend over Rs 1,30,000 ($ 2,708) every month on our sterilisation
programme and other activities that benefit stray dogs. Each sterilisation
costs more than Rs 550
($
12).
Donation
options
- Make
a once-a-month donation:
If you wish to contribute on a monthly basis towards sterilising
one or more dogs (each sterilisation costs Rs 550), you can mail the
cheques or we can collect them.

Donate for a specific item/programme:
Food
costs (vegetarian) for a month - Rs 27,000 ($ 619)
Medicine costs for a month – Rs 30,000 ($ 688)
Vaccination of 100 stray dogs on site against rabies – Rs 2500
($ 58)
First-aid costs for a month – Rs 7500
($ 172)

Donate
to our corpus fund:
Contributing towards our corpus fund will help us in the
long term with a steady source of income.
- Donate
in kind:
Contribute items that are required at the kennels: Milk powder,
dal (lentils), rice, broken wheat (dalia), milk, milk powder, biscuits,
soya chunks, medicines (call us for our list)
- Sponsor
activities and events:

Fund-raising
events - Special events such as WSD Indian Pariah Dog Club events,
concerts, film premieres and plays can be organised to raise funds.
You can help by sponsoring these events and by buying tickets.

Publication
of awareness material, such as our leaflets on rabies and its prevention,
dog care, our directory of animal welfare services etc.

Telephone
helpline for animals in Mumbai.

Construction
of new kennels at our Mahalaxmi sterilisation centre.
Donations
are
exempt from tax under Section 80-G of
the Income Tax Act (1961).
